Our Trip to St George

Last week we went to St George with Rob's family. Reese had a great time floating around the pool. We can't believe how big she's getting! Eight months today!! She is crawling all over the place, even going up the stairs. She is trying so hard to start walking. She can stand on her own for a minute if she's distracted by a toy or something so she doesn't relize she's doing it. Crazy baby. Hope everyone is doing great!!

We Feed Her I Swear

Yesterday Reese and I went grocery shopping. To keep Reese entertained while I loaded groceries in the car, I handed her the shopping list. She slurped on her binky and crumpled the grocery list quite contently. I put her in the car and stupidly did not take the grocery list away.

On the ride home she was the quietest she has ever been in the car – not a peep. We pulled up to the house and I opened her door to find a baby covered in blue ink. There was nothing but a small, soggy square of grocery list left. I panicked and started fishing her mouth for the rest. Too late. All I found was a blue tongue. Reese ate the grocery list. I am a terrible mom.

P.S. We aren’t dead. We just don’t have internet. On lucky days like today we can steal our neighbors wireless connection, but they usually kick us off after a few minutes. Hopefully they won’t notice until after I get this post up…

Good Morning!

Here is Reese a little after 10:00 AM just waking up for the day. She sleeps so long sometimes it's scary. She usually sleeps right through the night, wakes up at 6:00 AM for a snack and goes right back to sleep until 9:00 or 10:00. At least she wakes up in a good mood.

Strong Baby!

Reese is getting so strong! She can hold her head up now no problem, and she pushes back when we stand her up on her legs. She has a little scoot, too. She rolls onto her side, kicks out her legs and uses them to pull herself around. She can't get very far, but we have to watch out when we put her down so she doesn't scoot off the edge of something.
Oh, and just incase anyone gets the wrong idea, that is Rob in the pictures above. I just want to make sure you guys know I am still shaving my legs.

Brackets

In the Hospital

Little Reese was born Feb 8th at 2:35 AM. She weighed in at 7 lbs (really just a tiny bit under, but close enough). Here's a few pics of our hospital stay. We are soooooo glad that's over with!
